Usually, we’d be writing to tell you about the transformative work that Jhpiego is doing around the world with the generous support of donors, or to ask for your support and your time. Today is different. Today, we are dealing with COVID-19, a pandemic affecting all of us.

During this time, as we work with countries on responses to this outbreak, it is important to remember those on the front lines of care. We at Jhpiego encourage you to THANK the true HEROES in this crisis: health care workers. Health care workers from Los Angeles to Delhi to Nairobi are putting their lives at risk each and every day to provide essential care to your loved ones, friends and neighbors.

Together with national governments, private and public partners, health experts and communities, Jhpiego is working to support health care workers in more than 35 countries across the globe. We will continue to update you on what Jhpiego is doing to support nurses and midwives, as well as families in the poorest parts of the world during this growing pandemic.
