More than 100 runners, walkers, cyclists and supporters from Tanzania, Burkina Faso and the United States raised over $93,000 to support maternal and newborn health and help build a neonatal intensive care unit in the Kwimba District of Tanzania. Thanks to your generosity and support, Tanzanian mothers with sick and low birthweight babies will no longer have to travel 60 miles to receive the specialized, lifesaving care their fragile newborns need to grow and thrive. A special shout-out to our partner in this initiative, the Doris Mollel Foundation.
