April 2023 | Across the globe, Jhpiego works with country partners to deliver malaria prevention, diagnosis and treatment services with quality and care. From prevention of malaria in pregnancy to case management and community surveillance, we leverage data and the latest tools to impact care. Invest. Innovate. Implement. Those are the imperatives highlighted today in recognition of World Malaria Day and global efforts to end malaria. Toward that goal, Jhpiego supports national malaria programs in 20 countries in sub-Saharan Africa and Asia to deliver quality prevention, diagnosis and treatment services so that women and families receive the right care at the right time. Much of our work focuses on strengthening health facilities and the skills of health care providers to significantly reduce illness and death, especially among those most at risk, pregnant women and children under five.
